    Low Compression

I have a seadoo rxp and the compression is reading 50 50 40 ?? Should I be able to start it with this compression reading and does this mean I need a rebuild or new motor

50 50 40....that's really low compression...how many hours is on that motor? From my understanding your compression don't tell you the whole story of what's wrong...It could be you piston, head asket or valves..and probably other things that can get you low compression. But yeah...I wouldn't run it with that compression unless I took a look at it first.

Okay well what is the firsts thing I should do ? I got everything off super charger water box hoses now what ??

I think I got water in the motor is this what is causing the low compression if so what should I do just keep changing the oil with out it running or what .. No water is coming out of the spark plug holes I took the cover off the chain and everything looks mint

In my experience, if compression is less than 80psi in all cylinders you'll be lucky if it starts.

So what do you think I need to do ??

U will need to try to do a full rebuild, get a used supercharger in the classifieds with low hours. I'm in the process of doing a complete rebuild on my engine with block boring, and all bearings, pistons, and gaskets, bolts, etc, etc... looking at close to $1800.00 to do it all myself. BUT I have a good supercharger, throttle body, fuel pump,& fuel injectors. My pump, prop, wear ring, and steering, reverse, and throttle cables are all good, and my electronics are also known to be good. All these things add up quick, and sometimes u gotta weigh your cost to fix all or start over.

1st thing ya need to do is try another compression gauge with a fully charged battery.
