No thermostat so warm it up good when riding, especially in cold weather/water.

Cylinders are nikasil plated so you can't really just bore them out and run them. Sleeving can be done but I wouldn't do one sleeve and 2 plated sleeves on the same motor. Check out http://www.mt-llc.com/index.html for cylinders. They do them on an exchange type setup and are only a couple hundred to have done.
    Good Luck

If it's getting to hot then you have a blockage somewhere. Cooling line blockages are a sometimes a real pain in the ass to track down, especially since they can be inside the cylinders... It's an open loop system fed off the pump.

Water is flowing, it is peeing out the side with a strong steady stream, but they cyls are getting extremely hot! I think im going to pull the head and see whats going on.

Is it the 1100 getting hot or the ultra? Ultras are well known for stopping head fittings. Alot of us run the tripple pisser kit so we know about it before damage occours. On your ultra #1 pees out the side 2,3 and the exhaust pees out the back above the pump.

It's the 1100, but how do you do a triple pee kit? Does the 1100 work the same way?

Ok yeah I saw your other post about the ultra being blown up after this. The cooling for the 1100 is quite a bit different than the ultra. The tripple pisser kit is sold by skiworx, it has 3 new strait head fittings and 3 hull fittings and the hose. It moves the pissers comming from the heads all up front where the existing one is now. That way if one clogs you can see it before you burn down a motor. It has saved me many times.
