    Aftermarket Impellers?

    Do they make you accelerate faster?

    Anything in store for the 260x?

    Most people have negative results from adding an aftermarket impeller to the Ultras, especially with the cost of them. Stick with the stock impeller.

    stock engine = stock impeller. there are downsides and upsides to changing impellers in either pitch up or down. Think of it like your diff in a car, can't have a 4.11 centre, pull good skids, drag everyone from the lights and cruise the highways......

    250 prop

    This has been my experience with Impros mod to 250 prop (pulley kit)boat.

    I did three diffrent pitches and tested all three
    The one that gave me sick accelleration was 16/22 at 8000 rpm. This was also the slowest top speed prop out of the three diffrent pitches.

    Great, i'm waiting for my skat trak limited class prop for my ultra 250. I'm doing closed course so acceleration is important. My ski is making at least 300 horsepower and coming out of the whole is blowing the stock prop out(cavitation). I hope the new prop helps. Top speed isn't the most important thing though in closed course.

    How did the skat trak work out for you? What pitch prop is it?
    rpm & mph??

    with the length of the back straights and from starting gate to the first turn.. a respectable top speed is a definite plus!
