Don't ya hate the stock limits
Finally got around and fitted my go gear to my FZS.
Watson racing ribbon remover
Watson racing intercooler upgrades
Watson racing anticavitation bits
Riva power filter
Riva fre flow exhaust
Engine tech light weight low boost 11.7psi wheel at 7700rpm.
Man does this ski accelerate compared to stock.
It jumps out of the water and blows past 70 in what feels like 3 to 4 seconds and then just bounces crazy on the limiter at any thing above 2/3rd throttle.
I love it, makes the ski feel really light and nimble.
Now I know what all you guys are addicted like me
I don't want to chane prop to say 13/25 to try and get of the limiter as I don't want to kill low/mid range.
So looks like Motec is coming very soon, will be talking with Gary Watson next week about a Motec to unleash the animal from inside.
Anyone care to comment on what the Motec will do for my ski with the above mods?
Can this Motec be used in the future on other models or future models of skis that may come out?
Its alot of coin but I might as well finish the ski.

Congrats on opening up the FZS...
Its awesome and you will get more addicted...
You will love the MoTeC.. it will let you rev and get all the benefits of the SC wheel
Think you will get to the 80 mph mark but the 13/23 will need re-pitching
I went the MoTeC so I can use it on future skis - even if not a yam
I started with the MoTeC only and thought it was good...
Added the ET Extreme SC wheel and it became great...
Now just waiting for an intercooler... for the third Hit...

you said "finish the ski"?
then there is the oem pump issue. once you get into high h.p. the aluminum pump veins will deterioate. and you will either need a skat magnum pump or a seadoo conversion.
last week my girlfriend ask me if i regret not keeping the ski stock! i looked at her like she was stoned and talking crazy. the, i smiled and said HELL NO !!!

Gotta get up into the 8300 or 8400 to get max boost and to shut up that stuped bla, bla, bla limiter.
I know someone with same mods and motec running 81 so should be fun and with all the other benifits of motec and the future it will be a worthwhile investment.
Dam weekend, I need to talk to Gary Watson. Monday can't come soon enough.
Gps the ski today although was choppy, full fuel it still ran 72.8 on limiter and got there straight away in like 4 seconds bouncing savagely on the limiter stock ride plate.
Blew my mates 250X away as well.
What does the ski do when you get onto the limiter at say 8400 with a motec,is it annoying like the stock one is at 7700 and goes bla, bla, bla, bla ?
or does it just top out.

when Gary from Watson racing sent my other goodies up to me I was lucky when the delivery arrived and was home, they went into the back of my shed before she got home.
Looks like this platform will get very interesting really soon.

With a motec you can set where the limiter will be. Set your limiter at 8500 rpms and set up your ski for 8400-8450 and you will not have to deal with the limiter.

Yesterday, I accidently mentioned that I dropped my ski off at my mechanics to add the RRFPR, AFR hardware, and TBM fuel cell. She said, "why did you have to drop your ski off at the mechanics, is there something wrong with it already? Isn't it brand new?"
...."Uhhhhhh, I'm just having something adjusted, no big deal". Whew!

Do you guys think if I get my Skat 13/23 repitched to 13/25 this will keep me off the limiter alot more with the mods I have done till I get the money to put a Motec in it?
I'm running the ET low boost wheel similar to the Riva B1 in performance.
Will the ski suffer much performance loss on low/mid range when I change the pitch from 13/23 to a 13/24 or 13/25?
Cheers for the imput guys who have done this in the past.
