    ultra 150 block off question?

hey guys got a question about the oil block off install on a ultra 150. actually my question has more to do with the MFD. im planning on removing the oil system altogether (tank, lines sensor etc.) when i remove that sensor im sure the ski will think it has no oil. what to i have to do to make it think it has full oil? in my polaris i put a resistor in the ebox. are there any tricks like that for this ski?

Do you have any idea what is involved in removing the oil injection system on the Ultra 150?????

Are you aware that you'll have to modify the crank case? Are you aware that you'll have to change the oil in the balance shaft bearings every 20 hours or so?

Unless you're a serious/pro racer, you really don't want to do this!

The kawi 1200 oil pump has 5 outputs, 3 go to the carbs then the other 2 go to the front and rear balancers. Once oil enters the balancer there are check valves located insid the case that pass the oil to the #1 and #3 cylinders.

To block it off you would need to split the cases and block those 2 check valves. Then about every 20 hours you would need to pull the engine to change the oil in the balancers.

I kind of simlified how exactly it work but that should give you an idea. The question has been asked several times if anyone has seen a kawi 1200 oil pump fail. No one ever had. Now if you look arround you will find lots that died from cracked oil lines. That is why you will see us recomende you change them to tygon.

Now one thing some of us do is add 1oz of oil per gal of gas on top of the oil injection. That isnt a bad idea with level 1.5, 2 or tripple pipes.
