Help please! Removed EFI now NO Spark

I removed my Nemo TB's from my 2007 And went back to a set of 2003 TB's with an air filter. I removed the EFI controller as well (wanted to go back 100% stock for reliability reasons)

The TB's I got were off a good runing 2003 boat. I have heard that the 03 TB's wont work but 2 leading members of this forum said they would and I cross referenced the part numbers and they are identical. What am I missing OR is this the reason that that some say they wont work on a 2004+ boat?

All fuses are good. All connections 100% on the new TB's. Cranks over with no problems (batt is not low) but just dosent throw a spark.

All efi throttle body's are the same, If you had spark before and no spark now you either got the throttle cable adjusted to tight were it's pulling on the throttle plates or you left the coolant sensor on the bottom of the pipe unhooked.

Make sure the throttle plate is closed. You may have adjusted the cable to much. The ECU will kill the spark if the plate is open while trying to start the machine.

ok well Isn't this funny.... The TB's I got from one boss are doing the same thing for me. I took off the throttle cable to make sure that was not it and checked the temp sensor and its hooked up too. When I did the self test im geting a code 01 system pass.... any other ideas why I would not have spark now? Thanks

i chasing one too.... everything in the front cover checks out fine. exhaust sensor in bottom of pipe is good and plugged in. plenty of free-play in throttle cable... no spark.

ski came in with no spark, put it aside, few days later pull it out to work on it and fires right up. started 10 more times since then. put it in water for a test ride, ran good. turned it off to make conversation with someone out on the water, went to restart, no spark again.... i've swapped efis boxes between skis, pulled rear elec box apart, checked sensors, disconnected throttle cable and verified all readings in front cover...

Make sure the sensor on the bottom of the stinger pipe is good. Jim heped me out with this a few weeks ago and the sensor was bad. Lee

replaced stinger pipe sensor with a known good one out of a running machine.... still no spark.

have the u-pipe and stinger pipes off, easy access to everything. keep slamming the tbs closed with freeplay ensuring they are closed all the way. triggers and stator check out the same on the meter as a good running machine.

maybe a bad roll over/tip sensor? or corroded connection somewhere...
