    RR RXT performance

RXT is starting to move. OPAS Bock offs, Stock ECU, Stock water box with left side out let, RR IC, Stock Prop, Modified Inlet air, 68.2 GPS MPH on the limiter.
Added my RR ECU and did some more Inlet air mods. The key to having a RR ECU perform is fresh air and lots of it, just running a hose to the front wont feed enough air especially if you go into the storage box. First runs were 70.7MPH @ 8300 but noticed just over 8 lbs of boost which is low for that RPM, about eight more runs boost was down to 7Lbs and 8200RPM. Pulled my charger and clutch was on the way out with only 55 inch pounds to turn it. Just Installed my shaved housing super charger off my blown RXP which always ran 9-9.5 lbs boost @ 8400RPM. Riva wedge and grate is here tomorrow and they claim 1-2 MPH add that with the extra boost and should see some good numbers. I tell you what a 73-74MPH RXT is going to be kick ass in choppy water this thing stays hooked up like glue. Next is the RR cam and Solas prop

I'm glad your getting some good #'s off the RXT and we can see it's potential

I can't wait unti you do the solas prop...

what prop now stock ? or did you do a 12/19 stock

Also what air inlet mods did you do.
I have cut a 4" hole in the front across from gas filler. Then put outerwear. I also have 3 , 1 inch tubes one leaves next to the back seat the other seat leave a 1 inch hole at the base of the grab bars and tie wrap to the top of the grab bar. I have a 4" atwood blower that blows the air out of the 3 tubes. I'll have to take pictures and post...

Have yall tried flipping your plastic bushing on the steering nozzle and see what it does for your top speed.

Limited is at 72 with his flipped.

Flip #33 and it straightens out the steering nozzle instead of pointing up. Which makes the water travel with more power.

You need about a 2.5 to 3 degree wedge but it's worth a try to do a 10 minute change.

    Craig,

NICE RESULTS!! What are the water and air temps when you do this testing and where do you have your boost gauge mounted?
