If the boat pictured is indeed the boat for sale then it absolutely is not a 1994!

The boat in the picture is a 2000 or newer era Virage, I can never remember what colors the virage skis were over the years.

If that is the boat you get for $1000 and it works and it isn't stolen then yeah thats an awesome deal!

I think the best thing to do before buying any untiltled boat is just to make sure you will be able to get it properly titled in your name once you take it over.

I echo Xlint89. The two with no titles are a nightmare waiting to happen, and Conroe lake patrol, and San Jacinto river patrol always check the papers. My second ski was an "out of stater" that I actually had to register in the original state before Texas would even look at it. I got very lucky that state just required a bill of sale. Texas required original documentation from the original owner, and it took about a year to track the person down only to find out he lost the paper work on it. It is always easier to rebuild a ski than to rebuild a title!

The one for 1000.00 is a very nice ski, but it's not a 1994, I agree.
There is no title because the lein was never paid and the owner sold it the people who have it now. So..... As much as I want it, you will NEVER obtain a title for it without a release of lein.
The other one without a title is no problem.
I have a lady freind that works for TPWD, she said it wouldn't be an issue at all.
The SLT 700 is actually a 96, and he sold it teusday,DARN!

Ok, picking up the slt 700 with no title tomorrow.
It has the twin cylinder motor, will that motor perform as good as the 750 triple? Will it drop into a 95 sl750 hull?
Dang, that makes 5 darn skis, and a stand up!!
    90 kawi 550sx (fun!)
94 slt 750 (problem child, it's moody like the wife, that's why it's hers!)
95 slt 750 ( Bought new, refuse to sell)
    95 sl 750 (bad motor)
    96 slt 700 (parts ski)
01 gpr 1200 yammie (the fastest)

Looked at it earlier, it's like 20 minutes from my house, it is the exact one in the pic, it's far from a '94.
