    Deal or no Deal??

Found a 2004 Honda 3 seater turbo with 132 fresh water only hours with factory cover and galvanized trailer for $3000. I have not personally seen it yet just been communicating via texting. The guy sez its in real good condition, no scrathes or tears in seat, been stored indoors..... only thing he sez that the reverse cable is broke. What yall think??

+1. Check the turbo out good. If it is rusted up, forget it. If it is clean, offer him 2800 and ride it like you stole it.

sounds like a fair/good deal. Every person I have known to have a honda racks up hundreds of hours on them. Then handling is different, smooth ride, but not like a GPR.

Get him to take a picture by putting the camera inside of the rear bay and get a shot of the turbo/waste gate actuator by point it under the exhaust. Post the picture on here and we'll be glad to advise you of what kind of shape it is in.
If the reason he thinks the reverse cable is "broken" is because the reverse is stuck, then don't worry at all about it since we have a 45 minute no parts needed fix for it. If the cable itself is broken then beware since I have seen skis that sank from water coming in around a broken cable.

Thanks for the input guys. Ive decided against going forward with trying to buy this ski as I just dont have the time to mess with it. For anyone interested in it, it can be seen on www.southeasttexas.com. The ski is located in Lake Charles Louisanna.

I advise you to check it out. Shouldn't be much to mess with. Great ski too.
