Took it off to adjust the screws, dad decided he is gonna help and starts to rinse the lid off whilst swing it around to dry it off (i know dont know y) he swings it slips out of his hand and smashs onto the ground breaking part of the internal dividers/ supports off, he then tells me he can fix it now he has melted a hole through it as well, i could knock him out right now

Perhaps you can create your own from a flat piece of aluminum plate, a few mm thick.

Cut it to shape, drill holes for the bolts.

It doesn't have to be perfect, just needs to hold the flame arrestor element in place and not have big gaps around the edges.

like ur thinking but i was concerned about not having the correct supports for the bolts and the dividers not being between the carbs

i dont know what these dividers do , but they are prolly not necessary

the bones you will spend on getting a stock air breather lid , you could spend on separate performance f/a s

since your in a hurry , see what the local motor cycle shops and pwc stores have for 38mm carbs , i bet it will be just as much and take just as long if not quicker

the correct support for the bolts will determine your thick ness of the metal , prolly doesnt even have to be aluminum , painted steel will get you by ,

i think 2-4 mm plate will support the torque need to bolt it down
