1997 GP760 - Just rebuilt, but has a hose missing

Hello. I have just rebuilt the engine on my 1997 GP 760. It starts/runs, etc. However, there is a coolant hose missing. From the bottom of the exhaust system, there is a nipple that is simply putting water back into the hull. I am unsure where this hooks to, as I do not have any hoses left over (must have lost it). Any advice would be appreciated. If you need more info to help me out, please ask, as the unit is at home with me. thanks.

As I spend more time studying, I've found a loose hose that mounts on top of the bottom portion of the muffler assembly. Does this make a loop (water out/water in)? If any one is able to looke at the a Yamaha parts catalog http://www.yamaha-motor.com/waverunner/parts/home.aspx , it is in the section of "Exhaust 1". The loose nipple is #2. The hose that I've found is #16.
