    Not a happy camper!

It was a lame weekend weather wise so I decided to go over the skis real quick. I though I might have fouled a plug on the 750 last time out, Nope! I did a thumb compression test on the skis. Got a dead hole on the 750 mag. Other skis were fine. Here are some pictures.

Looks like you lost a ring in the process.

Should keep a closer eye on your piston wash. I like to take a peek after the last ride of the week end. Usually allows you to catch a small problem before it becomes a major one.

no idea, just started running like it had a bad plug. I pulled it and saw the electrode and said this can't be good. That's why I did the thumb test. I can see one ring intact. thinking maybe the other let go and snagged or something. Hope it's not the crank or it will be sitting out the season. I have to install the update kit in my Hurricane. I need a starter, a primer, and the ride plate inserts for my JS440. I haven't even looked at the JS550. The SL750 will take priority over the 550. Yikes where is a guy to find the time to do all this stuff.

    Look familiar????

Ran extremely lean, burnt the exh side of the piston. Then the ring "popped out" and snagged the port.

You got a fuel delivery issue my friend.

Let me see what I can conjure up for you. I know I have a set in the basement, just need to find them.

OR, there was a guy I just sent a free set of mats to. He said he only needed the rear. I'll see if he'll forward you the fronts.

yeah the guy riding it ran out of gas going WOT. I'm sure that helped contribute to the problem. Guess, I'll have to clean out the cellar and put on my 780 intake and carb rack I got for it.

So I remember paying $228 for the OP flame arrestors back in the day cause I just had to have them. It came with no jetting specs. I put in 95's being two sizes larger than what came stock (90's) and apparently they aren't big enough. I have since found the extreme service carburetor intake kit pn 2871456 instructions and it says 102.5's for a 750 and 105's for a 650 is that a typo? Seems odd that the 750 has smaller mains than a 650. Any way I'm going to be putting a 95 SLX intake and carb rack on my 750 when I find the time to get working on it. It has the 105's in it. The directions say nothing about the pilot jets. The SLX rack has 72.5' pilot jets and the 750 has 75's one size different. Wonder if I should leave it alone or put the 750 pilot jets in the 780 rack
