2000 GP1200R with minor mods
SOLD and going to a good home!
2000 GP1200R Millineum Edition in really good condition. This is a turn key ready waverunner. I bought this last summer with the #3 cylinder, piston and crank damaged. Over the winter I pulled it apart and found the previous owner added d-plate and Power Plenum but never changed the jetting which caused the cylinder damage.
Over the winter I installed a 25 hour crank, reniked cylinder, had other two cylinders checked and honed. Installed the following:
- Three new OEM pistons, pins, plate washers, upper rod bearings, and rings
- All new OEM oil pump lines
- Rebuilt and rejetted carbs for Power Plenum, removed accellerator pump
- All parts and gaskets used are Yamaha OEM parts and no short cuts were taken.
- R&D tabs, grate and ride plate
- Power Plenum
- D Plate and resistor
- Auto Bilge pump
Guage shows just under 87 hours and it has only been run 2 hours since the complete rebuild. Still in breakin mode.
This is a great color combination of super white and silver.
Water test is no problem for serious buyer.
Better pics will post later......

I built this with the intention to keep so I was very anal in putting it together. Even though the engine is basically stock...it is tuned to the tee and runs smoother and very strong. Though it is not a match for the Triple or the KPG 1390....it holds its own in comparison to my stock 06 1300.
In fact it is as smooth or maybe even smoother than the 06. Oside Bill helped me out in walking me through tuning the carbs......
The buyer of the ski will have a very reliable and super performing ride....
