    Question Can't drain oil?

I checked my GTX's oil level yesterday per standard Sea Doo procedure (ran the ski for about 3 minutes, pulled up to dock, turned engine off, waited 1 minute and checked the oil level). It was over-full on the dipstick because I added some oil. I then used my oil draining machine to pull some oil out, but none came out! My friend tried his device, but again no oil came out. We checked the dip stick again and it read over-full.

We both tried setting the tube at different levels and applying suction but still no oil?

    Any ideas?

Have you tried to pump oil right out of the bottle to make sure you pump is working?

If you can measure oil on the dip stick I will promise you with good pump and enough lenght on hose you can get oil out.

I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CRAZY, but... two different people tried to siphon oil through the dipstick tube using two different siphoning machines and we both came up dry.

I first stuck the tube down as far as the dipstick would normally go and then I eased it up a bit and shoved it down some more, but no luck. We checked the dipstick and the oil level was 1/4" above the center. I like it in the center area.

I am starting to think that something is stuck down there preventing the oil from being sucked out. I am wondering if it has to do with the cam. We tried turning the engine over a few times, but that didn't help either.

I couldn't be the first person this has happened to?

Put the siphon tube next to the dip stick and then you know how far to reach oil.
Be sure you can stick siphon tube down to the proper lenght without it hitting on something.
    Twist the siphon tube.
