Sold my 785 for 1200 mistake?

    Hey Guys,

Sold my Mint 1998 Pro 785 with 45 hours. I wanted to sell it to buy a Pro 1200 but i think i might regret the move. Is the riding the same between the 1200 and 785? or is the 785 still the better one for flying around boey's ? Is the pro 1200 going to handle like my 785 did. any info would be great??? I posted this on Pwctoday and they told me to come here where are the polaris people are.

    Thanks

Should of bought a double trailer and kept the pro 785 with 45 hours and buy a 1200 Pro for the other spot, thats what i was trying to do but ended up getting a 2000 pro785 and a 2000 slx instead. opps. close enough for now I guess. Just my opinion,, maybe money played a role in it for ya.

The price was right for the SLX!, 5 benjamins!

Not many boats ride or handle like a good tuned 785..

    A Pro 1200 will NEVER handle like a 785

Is it really that much heavier or is it the position? I would image the weight savings of the smaller motor would be offset by the trippples? I have no idea, that's why I said I would take your word for it!

LUGS - If I do upgrades to the 1200 can i get it close. I loved my 785 but couldn't stand that they still don't make a replacement motor for it. I figured i would get rid of it for good money before it blows up and lefted with nothing. I got 4500.00 for it so i think i did well. As far as the double trailer question, I have a four place trailer, I really wished SBT sold an motor for it and i would of kept it.
