ZXI 1100 won't turn over - HELP!
The last time my bike was ridden it ran like a champ and was tied up at the dock. The ignition was left in the on position (the kill switch lanyard was removed) and we had terrible storms throughout the night. The following morning I can't even get the starter to click. The trim tabs work, the battery is new and the drive shaft can be spun with normal resistance so I know the engine isn't seized. Any thoughts on the best place to start. I'm figuring the starter module or kill switch wiring, but have read about ways to "jump" the starter. How do I do this? What wires can I jump to make sure that the starter / engine is OK before then looking at replacing the starter module / CDI...
Any help is enormously appreciated.
