    Blaster question

    Hey Blaster guys:

Quick question about a 98 Wave Blaster. Someone is selling it locally, says its A1 mechanics (haven't verified this myself), new battery, and is asking $1900 CAD for it, and I'm thinking without the trailer.

Does that seem pricey for the year? I have no idea about the # of hours, but any comments would be appreciated.

Also, could someone tell me what the red and white one is in the second picture? Also looks like a Blaster..

    Well, it's sure as hell not a 98. That's a 93 or 94, they didn't even make a 98.

The other ski is a blaster as well.

If you're looking for a Blaster, or anything blaster related, sign up on the X, it's a much better site for blaster/superjet knowledge than here.

Blasters were made after 96 in the other countries although that's a 93-94 purple hull.

I'm aware. However they were very rare here in the states and they were blue and white.

Well, considering he's in North America I figured it was a fair statement. They weren't available in the US. I almost edited that comment before I posted it because I knew someone would point this out.

So after all that, it could be a 98 sold in Canada?

I'm already on the x (same screen name) just didn't get to posting over there.

I don't know if I want to go for a Blaster or something a bigger like a GP1300R. Yes I know they're very different, and please no one suggest both

I had the chance to try a 3D and liked how much fun it was, but I'm thinking that as I ride in a lot of chop maybe a little bigger / more stable (and also for the missus) would be better. Still, the price of either up here kills me to the deals I've seen in the US.

    No, it is definitely not a 98. It's a 93 or 94.
