so i'm pulling out this old thread because i found it on google. Are these meant to replace the giant blue box arrestor on the 780s? Is there a benefit to the 3 individual over the 1 piece that covers all three?

Not sure what anyone's comments would be about three vs one.... I modify mine on my 750s so the element is exposed:

To me it's all about airflow. Also, I like having two screws to remove in order to pull the cap. With the OPs you have to unbolt each of the covers x multiple bolts..... Just my opinion and my preference.....

OP's should breathe better than the air box..

If you're looking for some, I still have my ocean pro's - they're in great shape, make me an offer!!

OP's must breathe better. They were used on the SLX 780's while all other 780's used the element like BFC has in his pic.

If your concerned about foging, go to autozone and pick up some small rubber body plugs and drill 3 small holes in the top of your blue cover, this will allow you to fog without removing the cover , the you simply push in the small plugs when your done
