What Degree wedge should I run??

Any Ideas on what degree wedge I should run for my 92 sl 650 when I put the ext pump on? I have trim so I'm not sure that I shouldn't run a 6 degree? Thanks Z

Z I run a 4 deg on the 750 with extended pump and trim is around mid to 3/4 at WOT. The ride plate and sponsons will also make a differance. Try it without and see where your baot likes to ride.

I don't quite remember but I don't think that Ocean Pro ride plate will fit on the older SL hull with the extended pump. Well I guess you could just grind on the plate and make it fit.

Scott, a spare wedge would have fit in the box.

The OP plate should fit. I'd use that with a 4 degree if you ride rough waters or the ocean. For smooth lakes I'd go with the 6 degree and this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT this ride plate was sold by twist engineering / MSD. It won't scrub off top speed like the OP will.
