high and low speed jet questions
Just trying to rap my head around the fuel delivery of the keihen carbs. Been trying to get my 900 tuned and got some questions. Now my highs are not adjustable. Now turning the lows out gives more fuel from stop to 1/2 throttle. Now at full throttle are the lows still producing fuel to support full throttle? If so then if you have the lows producing to much fuel then full throttle could be bogged down by to much fuel right? Thanks for any info

I guess the answer is Yes, the lows do supply fuel at high RPM, but at a lower percentage compared to demand. The lows will not add too much fuel, not enough to drastically change the high mixture. I think I read the mixture screws on Keihin stop adding fuel at 3 turns, might have been 2 1/2 turns.
How are you judging mixture-throttle responce-plug chops-piston wash?

Right now I'm starting over since i realized i had a bad reed cage So now I'm adjusting for throttle response and smoothness keeping it a little rich and then adjusting for top speed and performance by checking wash. Put a new set of plugs in to start out fresh
