Quick question for FZS mod
I currently have the following parts (not installed yet on the FZS, ski still waiting for customs clearance, hope to get it next week!):
Riva air power filter
Riva manifold upgrade kit
R&D intake grate with seal kit
My goal is to be within the 70/71 mph range without reflashing or upgrading the intercooler.
Are these parts enough? Otherwise I'm thinking about ordering the R&D C1 SC wheel (as it works fine with the stock intercooler) and may be the Solas 13/22R impeller.
Conditions are choppy water and air temperature is usually 85-90°F.
Thanks for your advice

Get yourself the VX rideplate as that's probably the biggest upgrade for you right now.
I'm at 72 mph with similar mods + rideplate.

Thanks for your input Ato.
In Luanda, we have the same weather as in Singapore, so I guess I'll achieve the same top speed as yours. No need then to add the impeller.
May be the C1 sc wheel from R&D will add a bit of a boost.

I'm about to collect my FZS very soon and intend to install my mods parts as soon as I get it.
As I'm having trouble findind blue loctite or blue permantex here (I've ordered some online, but I will only get it in 2 weeks), I'd like to know what other product I may use on the bolts for the intake grate and intake manifold. I don't think some kind of silicone will be enough. Any suggestions?

u dont need nothin for the intake manifold upgrade....just take the ribbon out and put tht sleeve(manifold upgrade) tht u get in place. You will get close to 1 more psi by doin this along.
