Lost my RXP to a flash flood

If you see a yellow & black RXP 215 floating around Lake Dunlap, PM or email at [email protected] It was last seen floating down the Guadalupe river Wednesday morning during a 10 inch rain.

It was sitting on the cradle in my boat house. The electricity was being redone so we didn't have time to run an extention cord to lift it up higher. The water was waist deep before we gave up. I'm pretty sure it went over our spillway and maybe two more downstream. I can only imagine the 1100 gph bilge pump I installed, which was on auto, fighting for it's life as it was sinking.

I was able to save the ski boat.

After 10 inches of rain, now I know why they call it a "flash flood".

Sundance, really sorry to hear about your Mastercraft. I hope you makeout okay.
You are one of the reasons I bought an RXP when I found one for sale. I was all ears when you would come by on the RXP you had with the thru hull exhaust. It sounded soo sweet and so does your RXT-X. I found one in Buda with 20 hrs on it, had Jerry rebuild the SC, installed a bilge pump, and a strainer for the grass on our lake. We had just starting enjoying it on the new dock since Memorial Day. I'm right across from John Cristman's and Riverbend clubhouse, next door to the Flume's. I'm the one with the shiny new double deck boat dock, and two new swinger lifts, with no jetskis!
We cruised down river and saw a bunch of damage and many trashed or sunken boats. We were lucky! I had insurance on the ski, not the boat.

Stop by when they open the lake again in August. I'd like to meet you.
