Original is 4, I'll bet Randy at Watcon has another 6 degree laying around.
You can also try putting up a WTB post in the classifieds.

    Welcome to the Hulk

Randy at Watcon recently listed some six degree wedges for sale.

    Is your MSX 140 stock?

    Which model year?

Do you have the 2003 or 2004 MSX ride plate installed?

yes...my msx is stock. It is a 03 model but first registrated in 05. i dont know if i have the 03 or 04 plate but i am soon taking it off for a little grinding and then i will know :P can i se it when it is still on the ski ?

so 4 degre is stock ! is it much speed to get from a 6 degre then ? better with 8 mabye ?

not much speed if any to swith to a 6 , might wanna see if randy has any heads for your machine ,

a pwc is much like a car you gotta prepare your self to make more power with engine rather than focus on making the pump/angle more efficient

I'd have to disagree with that statement. The MSX by nature is nose heavy,so the 6* makes a big difference in getting the hull up out of the water. And the '03 with the oldstyle ride plate is worst then the '04. The 140 is a injected ski and other then maybe raising compression and forcing the need for more costly fuel,I don't think you'd see much improvement.

    I will also disagree.

There is often as much, if not more, speed gains available from tuning the hull and jet pump as there is from engine power increases.

A six degree wedge on the 2003 MSX hull should yield speed improvements, along with the increased angle of the 2004 MSX ride plate.
