Is that the cap over the stock intercooler cooling line end of the 4-way splitter?

I would fit a " T " and do away with the 4 way splitter and the need for cap and possible leak..

you also will want to put a ball valve behind the T so that when you flush the motor water does not go out thru the pump.

Too much water pressure for that rubber cap. I had this issue. It ripped open after one ride. I put a small hose on it with a clap on one end and the other end has a hard plastic thingy stuffed in that hose on the open end. Clamped down. And that plastic thingy is threaded. And it has a thick hard plastic cap screwed on. If you feel like it a TEE will do the job too. My "cap" is on the intercooler hole, because I have a dedicated line to my RIVA I/C. If you have the stock intercooler and are using that 4 way thingy with the small little hole, you might want to go the tee route.

sounds like alot of plumbing for something you are no longer using.
if you put a "T" in there to replace the 4way. it will eliminate alot of unnessary plumbing. and reduce the risk of a water leak.

I used a SS "wye fitting" from McMaster because I already had one. They're pricy, a plastic alternative is also available.
Note these are available from this company only up to 1/2" tubing ID. If you're running 5/8" lines, you'll need to go with a standard "T" configuration.
