    rideplate fitment issue

Ive got a R&D rideplate for my SHO and it doesnt seem to fit right. I think the bolt holes are off just a tad, which i can fix but shouldnt have too. Also it doesnt sit flush to the hull when bolted up. Has anyone else come accross this?

Its hard to get a good picture of it, basically where the bolts go through theres a small gap between the plate and hull. The gap is the size of a small washer. I will try to get a picture to explain it better.

The one we put on my brothers SHO did the same thing, nothing lined up. We ended up going back to standard plate as we got sick of the pounding with the R&D.

grind the holes so the bolts fit easy and then try it again
i think the bolts are binding because of the misalignment stoping it from fiting flush

    kev
