Sorry about the breakdown
I just wanted to apologize to everyone for breakdown on the run from Amelia yesterday. I held our 30+ riders up and caused us to abort the trip. This absolutely qualifies as one of my most embarrasing moments.
It turns out that when we stopped to gather everyone, when I started up to idle over to my son, my supercharger froze, preventing the engine from turning. It happened at idle and the teeth look good. I can see one BB out of it's track, but still trapped. The engine seems to turn over fine now.
That SC has right at 100 hours with metal washers installed at about 60, I was told. I should have rebuilt it before now.
The SC and loosing a nozzle bolt yesterday (and one from Billy) were the first two problems I've had with this ski (I've put 20 hours on it since I bought it used.).
I really appreciate everyone's help: Brian, Victor, Jeremy, CraigO, Billy, and many others whose names I didn't catch.
I've pulled the SC from my boat, and hope to install it shortly (I had it rebuilt ~10 hours ago.).
Again, my apologies for holding everyone up and I very much appreciate all the help. You are a great bunch of folks and I owe you some beers.

No apology needed! You would have done the same for any of us. We still got a good 70 mile ride in! Glad the ski is ok.

I'm glad to here it was something simple. When I saw the engine was locked up, I was worried. We still had a great ride. 83Gator was a great guide

No worries rightontarget1. I enjoyed watching the gator hang out and having a beverage. Good to know it is a simple fix.
Was something how long all those guys worked on your ski trying to get it going. Like I've said--great peeps at MB.

Ditto on all the above. That's what GH is all about - on the web or not, members helping members.
And nobody ruined anybody's trip: We still covered 70 miles of beautiful terra non-firma... we just didn't quite get to the really small stuff. But still a successful outing in my book.
Glad your stuff is up and running, Jim.
