    Too much prop????NOT!!

Just an update to a thread I started a while ago about my new mods and my lack of performance. When I first posted my mods in my signature it was widely commented that in had too much prop. Some even gave me a few negative shots about it. Being new to modding I was more than a little embarrased felt out of my league with what I was trying to do.

After a lot of tweaking and hull sanding I am proud to say that I posted a GPS of 75.2mph this morning.

I would like to thank VERN and IRONHEAD for their positive comments on my thread and for helping me tweak my ski to get to this new speed. Without these two guys I would have given up. Thanks guys.

Now looking forward to IRONHEAD getting me to my next level when my S3 impeller arrives.

We all learn from hands on experience, and is the best way IMO.
Glad you got it tuned in.

Thanks. You are right we learn from hands on. I just felt when I was looking for help I got more criticism than help. Weather or not it was intended, to a newbie in the mod game like me it was very intimidating.

I pulled 74.9 last night and finally 75.2 today. I am excited about the new wheel. I am afraid though when I see yours mine won't be enough anymore.

I went back an re-read your thread.

Nobody was trying to give you a bad time....or bad advise.

A misprint re your initial rpm w/ said prop and other issues which were later explained seemed to cause a bit of confusion re your set-up.
