    my 95 polaris sl750 only goes 5mph

Recently purchased two SL750's. The first one always went five mph. The second ran fine thru a few tanks of gas and now runs poorly also.
The second ran great, but when running hard, once in awhile it would loose power for short period of time but seem to recover after few seconds of reduced throttle. After loosing power the last time it stalled and was hard to start. It now is unable to be reved up and will die if opened more than around 1/4 throttle. Both will idle fine in the water but will bog out and die, then will start hard as if flooded.

If they were mine, I'd go through the fuel systems.
There are plenty of posts here on the fuel issues with the 750, enjoy your read.

    I totally agree. ^^^^

    Most likely something clogged.

I've had the same issue with my 1995 Polaris SL650, and after going through everything I have come to the conclusion it is the fuel pump / fuel lines.

Hoping with the new fuel pump, new filters, and new lines any clog of issue i'm having will be fixed. I'll let you know my progress because this sounds like the exact same problem i'm having.

    Rebuild those carburetors too.

    Service the fuel selector.

Also change the fuel lines inside the fuel tank, if there are any.

    RE:

Thanks to everyone for their responses and their welcome to the site! There sure is a wealth of good info to read here and sounds likely the fuel system is the culprit to my problems. It looks like I will be spending some time going through the fuel system. When I have finished I hope to report the good results. Thanks again to all!
