    Injector cleaning...???..

I have searched and all I get is guys getting them sent away and blueprinted or flow tested. just want to know if anyone pulls them out and cleans them at home, with a solvent and with what solvent?
My guess would be pull the o-rings off, soak them and then use air, anyone got a suggestion?

I've used these guys a few times not for the ski but car stuff. They can also bore stock injectors to bigger sizes. Used them back in the day when I had my Rx7. I'm sure they'd do a good job for you.

for the price to send them away you are almost in to new injectors, Im looking for a do it yourself injector tune up that can be done at oil change time, and not the type you pour in your gas, I dont want to degrade the oil.

Check this out. http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...ight=injectors Not a home cleaning, but sending them out is the only way I would go. Not worth seizing a motor to save a few bucks. You just dont know your end results.

By the time I send them to the u.s to get them cleaned It would be the same as a new set...so again, OTHER THAN sending them away does anyone else do anything?

I know this is an old post but........

I talked to my local dealer on the phone today about cleaning n flow testing injectors; he said They had nothing, but told me how they cleaned them in house.
Which is to hook a hose to the injector spray in some carb cleaner in the hose hook the other end to air nozzle, ( I set regulator to 50 psi) then cycle 12 volts to them untill you have a good spray.
