SPX is bogging under load
Guys, Iíve got a 1999 SeaDoo SPX (787 engine). Prior to me and in its former life it was a race ski. It was not running when I picked it up. Late last year I rebuilt the top end. It has 180 psi in both cylinders, cranks and runs great in my shop. Under no load the engine responds great to throttle. However, got it out on the river yesterday and learned that the engine will not come up to speed under load.
I just cleaned the carbs and did not rebuild them or check pop off pressure since everything looked very clean. Was that likely my mistake? Iím about to correct that and rebuild the carbs. Anything else to consider that could cause this problem?? (It has good spark and new plugs.)
Comments are welcomed.

Yes... I should've mentioned that. Fuel lines are all new and clean.

No big deal, check the pop-off on the ski. They need to be at least 1 psi of each other, and butterfly's synced. I the paint is chipped & no grease on them, pull them.
