picked up my 2010 fzs on sat

hey guys, i've been browsing the forums for some time now - ever since i got my 06 gp1300r...

sold my gp to one of my best friends, and bought a brand new 2010 fzs.

    WHAT A MACHINE!!!

i can't get over the sheer size of it, but it sure goes like a bat out of hell and feels rather nimble for something of its size/mass!

i took most of the decals off, i can't stand looking at them.

i attached a picture of my old gp1300r as well

i paid $14,150 out the door including tax, title, registration (8.625% tax here in NY - UGH). including the 4 year YES, new 2010 karavan trailer, yamaha floating lanyard, and some odds and ends like a fire extinguisher, flag and whistle.

my only complaint is that around 3k rpm the engine feels very rough, and i feel a vibration.. i wonder if something is loose? if i get into the throttle hard and let out i feel a similar vibration/roughness... i read a few other threads and most people said it is normal, i just wanted to double check.

My 09 fzs with 25 hours does the same. In fact, it has become even louder the last few hours, especially at 4 grand. Maybe this is normal?

    Congrats buddy!! Very nice..
I have a 09 Blue FZR and a 06 SeaDoo 215hp. The SeaDoo is the wifes, but Memorial Weekend, she just could not get off my FZR. Lol.. Well, to make a long story short, we just sold my SeaDoo to a good friend of ours who loves SeaDoos and we are now going to buy a 2010 Blue FZS so we can have the matching twin.. They are AWESOME machines.. Anyways, have fun with it and get don't forget to instal a Intake great quick.
