07 RXT Stage 1 RPM Loss

I have an 07 RXT with a stage 1 Riva kit and a couple of free mods. Here is a complete list of what has been done:
Riva Power Filter and removal of all stock air intake system
    Riva Pump Wedge
    Riva Intake Grate
    Solas SRX-CD-14/17R
    OPAS Competition Kit
    Reverse Bucket Mod
Filled Ride Plate Bolt Holes and Sanded Ride Plate

Before I put on the Stage 1 kit I was running at 8000 RPM at 69.5 MPH
Now I am getting 7600-7850 RPM at 66.7 MPH.

I recently pulled the SC to check slip, changed the oil (made sure it was middle of the dipstick), checked all hoses and clamps. The water temperature, air temp, water conditions, and gas level were the same for both the before Riva test as well as the after mods test.
I feel a more aggressive holeshot however the RPMs and speed suffered. Could the change in RPM be from going to the 14/17R impeller? I am looking to go with an xcharger, 42lb injectors in the future. I want to find the source of the RPM loss before doing anymore mods. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    WOW !!
Those are Very Impressive numbers when it was Stock

I have never seen a stock RXT that fast.
So not sure what has gone wrong when you
    put on stage 1 kit
Maybe try switching back to the stock impeller
and see what kind of speed & rpms you get
Ideal Rpms would be 8100-8120 with ANY prop you
    use.

I was thinking the samething when I bought it. On the dreamometer is was running 73-75 stock ( 69.5 on the gps). That was one reason why I bought it. I have ridden other T's that would only pull 62-64 on gps. I will put the stock impeller back on and retry it. Hopefully it will get back into its groove again. I am really kicking myself that I even messed with it at this point, especially with it running so good.

Your stock speedo reads over 70?

Yes my stock speedo reads over 70... I have been reading this forum and found that others are saying that their speedo only goes to 70. I don't know what the difference is on my ski that allows it to read over 70.. maybe a dealer programed it on the BUDS or something??? Yeah its one reason I like to to keep modding the ski to get a really high number on the digital speedo. Also my gauge cluster has a red backlight? Why in the world would seadoo put a backlight on a pwc gauge cluster when it is illegal to run at night?
The highest speed on the speedo has been 74. Next time I take it out I will take a picture of the speedo to show that it in fact reads over 70. Strange...

You have a aftermarket custom if its backlit probably. Maybe off one if the seadoo boats?

The more I read on this forum.. the more I really start to wonder about my ski...
I guess that is what you get when you buy used. I called the dealer and had all of the service records pulled including the supercharger being replaced with a 2008 SC with metal washers, for preventive maintenance. Record of the gauge cluster being replaced was not found at the dealer and the ski was under warranty.

Sounds like maybe the owner before you did
some mods you were not aware of..
That might explain what's going on.

Possibly already had a stage 1 or 2 , esp with
69.5 type speeds gps.. that's haulin even for a stage 1 rxt
