    My Mirror Pod Gauges

    Turned out pretty good IMO.

The Sunpro boost gauge was 20 bucks and works great. I got IBADTON to get me a long piece of high quality hose. Its running all the way from the TB fitting and it registering around 14.5 or so at around 8540.

Yep, I sold my X Bars and pads and put on the Renthals and ODI grips.

Looks great! Did you make or purchase the CF mirror covers? You also mentioned you ran your boost gauge tap line off the TB lube fitting? I did the same thing when I first put a boost gauge on my X, before I removed the flame arrestor, and moved my tap to the intake manifold block-off. Not the best spot to tap a boost gauge from, obviously, since its before the TB butterfly. But after I drilled the bottom out of the sprayer to allow more air flow, I'm with you, I got a pretty accurate boost reading tapped from there.

I dropped off one of the Pods to a local shop here and one of the Techs measured and made a CNC program to cut them. He kept it on File as well. Charged me 50 bucks for both of them and cut the gauge holes as well. Yes its running off the TB lube fitting and Im told its more accurate from there but that it will show no Vacuum ( which I dont care about anyways) It appears VERY accurate.
