Great morning on Lake Lewisville
I headed out this morning with my son on board. It was my first time with two people fishing on my RXT. We didn't catch anything for the first hour or so, there was a storm that rolled through last night. I think it shut them down early. I was heading back and the sand bass where boiling. We got on them and had a blast. We caught a ton of dinks but managed to bring home 9 keepers for dinner. The wind was blowing and it wasn't suppose to according to weather.com/liars....lol I figured out real quick that I need another 40' of rope. If I could have stopped drifting so fast I could have gotten into the Hybrids. I told the guy in the boat near me that his wife could catch Hybrids with a string and some hot dog....lol.. they were pulling them in but I couldn't even get the 2oz slab to hit bottom. Anchor rope will fix that problem.
