    timing adjustments '97 sltx 1050

i am replacing a sheared woodruff key and now ready to reassemble the flywheel. my concern is the timing settings. i unknowingly loosened these two allen screws and this rotates the magnets on the inside of the flywheel a few degrees. i dont remember what position they were when i loosened them. how can i set these?

You will need to put it back as close as you can, then run the engine with a timing light to verify. If its off, you will need to pull the cover back off, adjust it, and repeat. Timing specs are here on the site under "domestic" info.
