my 1200r seems to be running kinda rich and i didnt think the fuel consumption was THAT bad.... its better than my XPL.

Hey Vomit, are you stock, what performance mods have you done?.Huge difference I experienced from stock out of the box to "go fast'' tuning. I might also be running a little "rich" on the EFI controller. But I strongly believe that i'm running ''fat'' on the throttle, constantly riding WOT, just the nature of the beast

Don't know why everyone complains about fuel consumption. My carbed GPR was getting 80-90 miles to the tank at MB, and there was a ton of WOT.

According to the miles on my GPS i'm getting around 35-40 before i'm down to somewhere around two to four bars on the gauge from a good full tank.I might be able to squeeze another 10-15 miles, certainly don't wanna wait till fuel alarm goes off.The 07s don't have a fuel reserve that i know about

I can only go by my experience having owned a GPR for 8 years. Based on me logging GPS miles over the years, I usually get 80+ miles per tank on a regular basis. Just as I did for 260 miles of riding at MB this year. This would be a mix of WOT, no throttle, and everywhere in between. Generally, I do not start my ski and go WOT for hours until the tank runs dry. Nor do I log the exact throttle position and speed during a day of riding. Aren't you being a little hyper-technical on such a simple subject?

they all do. stay in the gas an the 4 stroke muscle craft are just as bad.
best fuel economy is a 4 stroke na motor. but they are slow.

We just have to wonder Dave(fullboogie). We mean no disrespect, I know you're a top tuner on GH, I just find those #s a little high.I starting to think maybe it's my ski,the EFI controller does play a big part in its settings.I'm at 5-6-1-6 , started at 5-5-1-6, the second pot i understand is your accel. pot.The top tuners say on my ''set up" that is the best settings for me.My ski feels awsome, lots of hard pull, no ''bogging", just my 2 cents
