Who understands gelcoating??
Anyone around here do it? How exactly is it done?

I did see that but you have to sift through 15 pages of BS. I went through the first five pages and saw some info about gel coat repair..
Im talking about doing an entire ski.
Is there any place local that does it? Any idea what it would cost? I really dont know anything about it.. thats why I posted up.

i think its wolcott boat.... i think thats the name, if not its in wolcott... thats who everyone in the state sends thier stuff too.. He just did a friends rxp, came out amazing.

James i just had the whole bottom of my RXT redone and it cost about $3,000 bucks total, with getting enough gel coat to do the top and bottom and having them sand and coat the hull.

i called around to have mine done, most marinas will do it, or they can refer you...if you are doing the whole hull, i would advise not to do it yourself, i did a few touch up spots and its a PITA to match and look good
BUT if you have patience, unlike me, you can probably get it done yourself with the right amount of time and gelcoat.
