Sl750 Ocean Pro Head yea or ney?

On my SL-750 I was considering putting on the Ocean Pro Head that came with it,

Does anyone have one installed on there ski?
    any Pros or Cons?

I already use pre mix, and these were the parts that came with the ski,

Oil pump removed; runs on 40:1 pre-mix
    Triple outlet fuel pump upgrade
    Aftermarket intake grate and rideplate
Toxic reeds and reed cage spacers
Ocean Pro Vortex flame arrestors and covers
TDR waterbox (it's not real loud, sounds good)
UMI handlebars, Renthal grips and finger throttle,

I am just trying to get a little more umph out of it,
It won't keep up with the PRO's
    thanks,

I plan on using an Ocean Pro head on my Sleeper project. I can't really offer any advice as to how well they work though, I haven't got the engine built yet, but they sure look great painted up!!!

I just picked up my pro from the shop and the Ex polaris Guru Matt Anderson said that is was just a fad thing, not much more than a little mid range punch, but you had to run a higher octaine with it in,
back in the day he had raced a 750 with about 26K in the motor and it still wouldn't go any faster that 67 mph, he said it was kind of crazy to spend that money and not get much more speed,

My slt 750 had it on it. matter of fact, that head jkindt has was mine! The Slt would go about 2-3 mph faster with the OP F/A's and the Head on it.. I ran 92 tane in it. nothing you do to a sl will make it go as fast or quick as a pro.. Maybe a 1200 would make it happen..

The hull is totally different from a PRO/.though to me...riding a Pro is just like a sl .. but more nimble, responsive,a lot quicker out of the hole and top speed. they are only 3 inches difference in length.

I could do 50-52 with it tops no more, at 6300 RPMS. Thats on the Dream-o-Meter though.

I think jkindt has his head cut down a little along with other goodies. should help even more.

    67? on a sl?

You can also take some PSI ported 750 jugs and punch them out to the same 800cc's... But no one in their right mind would do that, would they???
