    Winter Paradise

I've been dreaming of my own heated shop for the last 5 years, ever since we built on 10 acres. The project started in April and it's finally complete. The heater was installed yesterday. This winter won't seem so long this year. I'm very excited and already have a lot of projects planned.

Wow, that's a super garage/workshop. What are the dimensions and
what did it cost if you don't mind saying?? I'm planning on buying land
in the NC mountains on or near a lake. I would put up a garage like this
with maybe a small second floor so I could have a place to stay while
I build the main log cabin house.

Did you do a lot of the building work yourself??

Thanks! It's 36' X 48' with a 12' ceiling. I wish I could say I built it, but I didn't. I did do the landscaping and built the workbench, though.

    That's what I'm screaming.
Only things I see missing is a bed and a big screen tv.

I'll go back into the house for the bed. You need another warm body here during the subzero winters. But, I already have a flat screen LCD TV that will mount on the wall above the toolbox and swing in any direction. I already ran the DirectTV cable to the building. Did you notice the beer fridge? My wife bought me that, bless her heart.
