How much oil are we talking about at the exhaust?

These 2-stroke engines DO normally have some oily residue in the exhaust - the nature of the beast.

    What oil are you using?

Is the oil pump arm moving when you squeeze the throttle lever?

Is this after high speed riding, or low speed operation?

About a Half dollar size drop on the garage floor. I took it out to lake and left on trailor to run. Once I gave it a little gas it seemed fine until I would let off and the ski would die. It would start fine. The piston travel seems fine. I do hear a clicking noise at idle, but not at increased trottle. I didnt check oil lever. Using 2 cycle tw3 oil. Checked the plugs, the back two seemed rich and the front was dry maybe lean. I was going to buy a light tomorrow to check piston wash. Thanks

Which brand and quality of TC-W3 oil?

Sometimes the cheap stuff doesn't burn cleanly, and there is more oil residue mixed into the exhaust flow. Especially true at lower engine RPM and idle speeds.

My guess is that what you are seeing is an oil+water mix, and not a large excess of oil in the exhaust.

A clean burning synthetic oil might reduce the amount you are seeing.
