    "O" or "D" Plate...???

I have looked everywhere and can't find the answer...I get most of my good info from GOOGLE...I have tried our search function and get hit or miss...

I have just purchased an oil pump block off kit and decided that I want to remove the catalitic converter too. I figure since my ski will be in the garage I might as well do both.

Jet Works O plate with sensor....$79.90
    R&D D plate with sensor............$83.00
    Riva D plate with sensor............$89.90

    Do I need a 'gasket kit'?.......$59.95

It took forever to find that the catalitic converter is in the stinger....It
took ever longer to find what the stinger was......The catalitic converter is a 5 inch or so piece of honeycomb stuff!

edit: now when I search I get a ton of info.....don't know what was up before

    SKI is a 2002 GP1200R...stock...4now

Well bill, I am a complete n00b to the land of pwc's so that should of been my first inspection point but after looking to see if it did yes it has one! So now i have a chip and some odd o plate that i must clean up and find a marking on to identify it. Honestly i went into the install blind just tearing away at the thing and didn't find it too hard. I figured no big loss while i was down there i eliminated the oil injection and will now switch to pre mix...

I will help you out, All the O-plates were made by JetWorks his early ones were a little large and did not perform well, so he came out with a smaller version. You will not have much luck with markings unless he stamped them in.

Have you run it yet? Just curious if you noticed a difference......

I'm really tempted to make an offer for the 'O' plate.... just don't want the large hole 'O' plate

Did you have to replace the gaskets and how many are there?

Well i have ran it a few times when i thought there was a cat still in it and it ran perfectly fine... It isnt a big hole it looks to be roughly about the same area of an opening as the d plate... I'll clean it up today if i get some time. My son is graduating and have massive amount of stock coming into my store for summer time so ill be a bit busy but i should be able to clean and snap some pics... thanks for the clarification bill. I saw pics of the other o plates and all had a lil stamp on them that I didn't see on mine so I wasn't sure.
