life of motor with stage II and ECU????????

I have the basic stage one kit with the RR stock class ECU. This winter I am adding an Inter cooler and the new RR Super charger wheel. Do I need to beef up the vales, add a lighter cam, or lighter sprocket ect......

even tho the rev limit on the stock class ECU is slightly lower than the race version, you are still in more extreme conditions than most of us rec riders when ur out there on the course. the cam wouldn't be a neccesity, but retainers and shims for the valve springs would probably be the prduent thing to do in my opinion.

which intercooler do you plan on going with?

    noooo no no no

you pick one or the other... Riva uses a complete kit that's pricey with new springs and retainers.

Rotax racing uses retainers and shimes under the stock springs.

u found the link for the retainers... here's the shims http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=386

rotax is about 1/3 the price of riva... BUT we need someone more mechanically advanced than me to compare the two kits and see which is better and why.

Stock retainers are ok but you must shim the valves if you want to run 8450 in the rough.
