Way low ... should be more around 8000 - 8100 rpms and 68 mph. Do the usual checks ... first check for boost leaks, then check the SC clutch slip. What is the history of the ski? Did you just buy it? Does the SC have metal washers? How many hours on the ski?

everything regarding the sc is brand new washers. checked slip and its running fine.

Should check cylinder compression and visually inspect wear ring. Both are famous for loss of RPM and speed.

It could be a number of things, the knock sensor being one of them. There are some obvious and easy things to check first that could rob you of RPM and speed. As I said earlier, wear ring inspection, mentioned by someone else is boost leak (even a small one will kill you), cylinder compression, engine oil level too high, Knock Sensor, old spark plugs, throttle cable adjustment (make sure you have WOT).... like I said; can be a number of small things. I am sure others can even add to what I have stated.

Aka the knock sensor update harness. Probably a good idea to check this before going much further.
