    This battery any good

    Looking at buying new agm bat, for genesis will this one be ok.

    The actual photo of the battery does NOT say AGM anywhere that I can see.

    Price also seems a little too cheap for a decent AGM battery.

    All of the CSB AGM SLA batteries dont say AGM on them anywhere as far as I know. Its possible its just not labeled, but I dont see any point in leaving it out of the label.

    Deep Cycle doesn't sound right for an engine start battery. Deep Cycle is normally used for energy storage and drain applications, like solar power and electric trolling motors.

    The 6 Amp maximum charge rate is also not characteristic of a a good AGM battery.

    The terminals don't look very heavy. I am thinking that battery is not designed for use in a vehicle.

    That second batt you posted is garbage for this application.

    Just get a Deka / Odyssey.

    all those batteries are for golf carts and crap like that. get an oddyessy PC- 265.. and be done with it! like al said..

    FYI - I picked up an AGM battery at WalMart of all places. So far I'm very impressed with its performance. We'll see how it does after a winter of storage, but so far it seems much better than any of the old lead-acid ones I had been using from the auto parts stores.
