What do you mean by fastest...?? All out top speed or quick and fast like a track or race ski.

Different setups there. The kawi only gains minimal for bigbore..

Specify and I will add my input..

Triple Pipes with carbs to match, then sponsens, rideplate intakegrate, impellar.... Carbon fiber seat, Umi-steering, All this should get you to at least 70mph

Well I will give ya a tip right now fastest is the wrong thing is CC racing..unless your doing alot of super course that is wide open.

And who or what are you racing against.

a stxr is still a good CC ski by far ...but again depends on what your racing. Really the rider depends alot too.

I would start like so...for a true CC race ski

    Lighten and true the hull....alot
Use everything you can putting it together that is light...

    On the hull...
skat pump 148 or 155mm with zero nozzle or 2 degree depends on conditions and ride plate used. Also dump nozzle setup. Dont need the turn and drop
R&D plate mod or not stock works well to
    Carbon seat and hood.
    sponsons of choice

    Motor...
48mm carbs with V-force or R&D reeds and cages
Factory Triple pipes and cdi but may not be needed depending on who and what your racing,, expert or pro they will be needed.
175psi compression is a good place to start race fuel will be needed.
    Porting..

    Or WCporting

Before you buy heads and do porting you also need to know what you doing with pistons. Will it be a flat top motor or stock pistons.

a Factory pipe cdi will make the timing thing easy but a MSD could work or a factory kawasaki cdi which no one will ever have unless they get loose.

Making the ski light is important for quickness.

So if you can use titanium then even better.

    UMi steering.

Keeping the pipes dry at low speeds is a good way to keep it quick to ...they add alot of weight when they are full of water.
You will have to figure that out. Water injection stuff you can buy.

Anyway if you have the money you can make it right and make the thing rip. If you just bolt it up and go well it will run like most do....

    Good luck.
