    Calling GPR Owners

    Hi There

I have a 2005 GP1300R. It is showing the fuel as constantly low even when the tank is full. It beeps and flashes.

I have heard that the sender unit is part of the fuel pump and that will cost almost £700 yo replace which is excessive when it would appear the pump itself is fine.

Does anyone know anymore on this issue or if there are any alternative methods?

    Thanks in advance

I have had some simular problems with one of mine. Have you been able to get an error code. If your getting the beeping and the warning light try holding down the button and see if it gives you a code... You might get a 48 code.

No I have not. What would a 48 fault code be?

I think the code is connection error, or something.. That's what i am getting on my one ski. I will have to check my manual... so stand by

Hi there. Just to update you the clip that holds the float arm and stuff on had come off so no chance it was ever going to work. THe whole unit just unclips so was amazed to find out you can only buy them as part of the fuel pump for near £800. Outrageous! Got a second hand one from ebay and changed them over so its running ace now.

    Thanks for your help
