    SC slip checked

Hey guys, I have been in search of rpms. Only getting 10 psi @ 8260. 14/18. X-charger with riva pro series wheel. 07rxt, x-cooler

checked for a boost leak and found a leak at the bov. placed a plate and the leak was minimal.

figured i would check the slip on the sc, but i assumed it was normal since i have approx 6-7 hrs on new washers on the charger.

    slip was 91 in lb.

Assuming 1 ft lb or 12 in lb per pound of boost then my slip should be 144-168 in lb, is this correct?

Do you think this will account for my rpm loss?

I like to set my X chargers up to around 140-145 inch lbs of slip...91 is a little to low for a X charger IMO..

I'm gonna get some spring washers and replace the current ones (mcmaster carr)

What do I need? I have to get the spring washers and will also get shims hopefully from the online store. I have the gold riva washer tool, to fit over the slotted washer on the shaft. Anything else special? I do not have the gearholder tool. Will I need this?

Yes you will need the gear holder tool and a good torque wrench..Other than that it sounds like you have everything else you need...

I will get the supercharger gear tool tomorrow. Hoping I can get all this done by Friday for races on Sunday.

I hope this will solve the rpm issues that I've been having.
