    Arrow Deal or No Deal

I have a Customer with a Kawi 750 ss jetski he wants to trade the jetski for some boat work, so i get the ski for free with a little work.

    Deal or No Deal...

The jetski runs just fine in the low rpms but try to give it throttle and it will die. I took the carb apart and cleaned it out and ran into 1 problem, the reserve line is clogged inside the carb, i should be able to blow air through it correct? and the reserve line to the tanks plugged, with the cap off i cant blow air through it either.

    problems...
    1. The fuel water seperator isnt filling with fuel and is missing the filter.

    2. The reserve tube in the carb is clogged

    3. The reserve to the tank is clogged

    4. Theres a hole in the back i can fiberglass in.

    5. When running only a small stream of water comes out the pisser its a very tiny one on the front right of the ski and sometimes you can see smoke come out of there to ( i dont know if its anything to be worried about but i know polaris pissers shoot 2 to 3 feet out)

So what do yall think Deal or No Deal?

I know that on the mikuni carbs on my seadoo the return line is blocked this is meant to retain the fuel pressure. I thought it was clogged, and coudnt get it cleared, so I asked around, and yes its like that from factory

If you are talking about blowing air into the carb then no I would not do that. You can tear the diagram with to much air pressure.

For the most part it just sounds like you need to replace the fuel lines. You can get some good quality lines for cheap and in many colors as well as cooling lines from fuellines.biz

Sounds like a good deal to me if you are willing to put a couple of hours into it.

i took a look at the fuel and it is rust colored with water in it so im going to drain the fuel tank and also the little beads that hold the fuel cap on look like they rusted off into the tank could that be causing my whole problem and ill replace the fuel lines and clean the selector switch on it and see if that takes care of my problem and one day the motor just went crazy and ran about half throttle with the key and plug wires off its called dieseling i think

Yea I would just clean and rebuild the carbs, drain the tank and replace all the fuel lines and you should be good to go. The dieseling problem is what some call runaway engine. It will only do it sitting on the trailer. It is usually caused by a vacum leak. If you have had the carbs off and then on then it might not be sealed properly or you have bad gaskets. That is just one thing that can cause it which for the most part the main reason. If it ever happens again just grab a handful of throttle and open it up to WOT and it will die instantly.
