    ECU rpms

When an aftermarket ecu is fitted ie Riva 8650 will the engine rev to that limit only asking as went to buy a used RXP with several claimed mods Bkit and re-mapped ecu only pulled 8400rpm is this normal as the ecu looks no different visually.

You don't want to be sitting on your rev limit when ever you Wot you want to be sitting just under it from my understanding. If you want to be closer to the RL then you will have to play with impellers, nozzel reducers sizes and the like.

if it turns over 8150-8200, its an aftermarket/reprogrammed ecu.. stock rev limit is around there..

depends on what it was mapped for.

ecu rpm limit can be 8400,8650, 8800, 9200+

boost can be mapped for what every you want..

it is original stock ecu that is remapped, so yes it will look like a stock ecu only it will have a sticker on the back saying what it was mapped for. (unless he removed it)

8400 rpm is set for stock valvetrain, no valvetrain mods required.

if you are concerned he is not telling the truth, about the only way you will know is by seeing what else has been done for fuel (rrfpr, inj) and then measuring afr.
