im prety sure they cant be used message mark (hydrotoys)
im not sure of the reasoning i would think you could mount the engine mounts any where ...

Mounts are in different locations than the 1200 / 1300. No one has used an 800 yet that I know of. You could do it, but you would have to have custom fabricated mounts.

You can do it. There are indentations in the inner hull where the front mounts are on a gp12/13r. All you need to do, is move the 8r front mounts up to this location. You will need to move the port side mount, obviously, and there isn't a good way to hold the backing plate as you move it forward. You might need to cut open the port side stringer to hold it in place....but I think it can be done without cutting if you are careful. You have to cut the starboard side, so it's easy.
Past this, no one has reported on any other discrepancies.

I guess you can do it with the standard mounts if you do it the way hydrotoys said. Learn something new every day.

+1. you would need to relocate the backer plates for the front mounts. easy on the side where you need to cut the stringer anyway. not so easy on the other side, but certainly possible.
